What is Podiatry?

Podiatry focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of conditions related to the feet, ankles, and lower extremities. Podiatrists are AHPRA registered healthcare professionals trained specifically to deal with foot and ankle issues. Podiatrists may use a variety of methods including nail care, physical therapy, medication, orthotics, and surgery to help patients maintain proper foot health and mobility.

Our flying podiatrists

At Fly2Health, we are making healthcare accessible in rural and remote communities. We believe that providing equal access to healthcare is crucial for all Australians.

Our team of experienced podiatrists provide high-quality podiatry services in the most rural and remote corners of Australia, delivering care right to your doorstep.

We do this by:

  • Routinely flying podiatrists to rural and remote areas to work in the community
  • Creating connections and long-term relationships with these regional communities to generate interest in regular podiatry and other health services
  • Organising community centres that can be converted into clinical spaces, such as occupational therapy
