Leeton is one of Australia’s richest agricultural areas & is the birthplace of the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area and was purposely built as part of the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Scheme.
The region is home to a large variety of irrigated crops and horticulture, including: Barley, Canola, Citrus, Corn, Cotton, Grapes, Oats, Rice and Wheat.
