Gundagai

Gundagai is famous for being immortalized in Australian bush poetry, especially due to the iconic Dog on the Tuckerbox monument and its connection to the devastating 1852 flood, a major disaster where Wiradjuri men saved many lives.

It’s known as an iconic country town, a stop on the Hume Highway, and for its heritage, including historic bridges and its Wiradjuri roots.
