Orange is a city in the Central Tablelands region of New South Wales, Australia. It is 254 km west of the state capital, Sydney,  at an altitude of 862 metres.

It is famous for its vibrant food and cool-climate wine scene, driven by its high altitude, alongside rich agricultural produce (apples, stone fruits), stunning scenery from Mount Canobolas, and a heritage charm with Victorian buildings and ties to poet Banjo Paterson.
