Numbulwar

Numbulwar is a remote Aboriginal community in the Northern Territory, Australia, situated at the mouth of the Rose River on the Gulf of Carpentaria. Established in 1952 as the Rose River Mission, it is home to the Nunggubuyu people, with Wubuy and Kriol widely spoken. The community is renowned for its vibrant fibre art and strong connection to coastal culture.
